I found out about these because we use them at work for various cleaning of parts related to electron microscopy. I have a camera and some binoculars at home and was tired of using microfiber cloths to clean the lens and wondering if the cloth held and oil or grit in it that could damage the lenses of my equipment. These wipes are great because they are single use. I just keep a little bag of them with my camera and some with my binoculars and clean the lenses when necessary without worry of scratches. Great peace of mind. Also great for glasses!

I've really missed regular lens cleaning paper for the past five or more years!

PROS: Significantly larger size compared to regular lens cleaning paper, making cleaning such items as flat bed scanners and display screens much easier.

I purchased these wipes because I noticed that my my optometrist was using them and the office staff was always telling me that I was scratching my glasses by re-using the same microfiber cloths. I also noticed that the eyeglass store, Eyeglass World uses them. The manager where said they use these exclusively, because they clean and protect better than anything they have every tried.

I have always used microfiber wipes but these wipes are 100% better. Leaves no residue whatsoever. No lint, Nothing but clean. I always use a tad of eyeglass cleaner and just a tad is enough. The wipes are perfect. You may not be able to tell from the pictures but you only need to use a single wipe. I wear larger Ray Ban frames and they cover the lens completely, with room to spare. You only need to use 1 wipe to get your glasses perfectly clear.

Will definitely order additional boxes. Well worth the cost. Two thumbs up! Easily earned 5 stars.

What was I doing before these?

Oh, yeah, re-distributing my greasy make-up onto my glasses with my re-usable cloths. But hey, I got used to seeing life through slightly frosted lenses.

Now, I see clearly...

And, then I had the bright idea that I might use these little wipers as oil absorption cloths for my face. Now, when my face gets that oily look, I also do a pat, pat, pat on the problem areas and these work for that, too.
