Product arrived intact without missing parts. Assembly by one person was time-consuming (~ 4-5 hours) but not terribly difficult; definitely recommend another person, however. Assembly complicated by directions that were weak at best, and not quite complete. Item itself is sturdy, easy to adjust as needed, and well made. Use sand to secure the base - 150lbs inside and another 150lbs on top. Would recommend this product.

My criteria for a portable hoop was 1) Acrylic backboard 2) enclosed hoop springs to prevent rust and 3) Huge base. I bought this thinking the base was too small, but it is plenty big to hold it down. My worries about a wobbly backboard and not being able to shoot a bank shot were unfounded - it is extremely sturdy. Plus the setback from the base is pretty good, especially for the lower heights.
Adjustment is easy enough for my 5 year old to change. Wish it had a measurement device to tell me how high it is. The enclosed spring should make it last a long time.
Lifetime is the way to go. Can't comment on setup cuz i was scared enough to pay for install. 2 guys 2+ hours.

After having to get another set of poles due to the first set not having holes drilled in correct spots or at all I have to say the hoop is great We have serious ballers using it had they love it . Amazon quickly took care of my issue with the defective product A+

I purchased this basketball hoop after doing quite a bit of research. I purchased the acrylic backboard as a more durable option than plastic, so I was very disappointed when the backboard arrived warped, dented in just above where the rim is installed. I purchased this for my son's 7 year old birthday. If I had the benefit of time, I would have returned it. The remainder of the product was as advertised and not too difficult to put together as someone that isn't very handy. It is an extremely unsatisfying purchase, as it is difficult to focus on anything but the warping.
