So much easier loading with a current
Ashley & Sean Turpin•February 17, 2018
I love them! I have pvc guides and added these for easier loading. It makes a huge difference with a current I put mine a little forward of the fender and Couldn't be happier I get locked in very quick. All hardware and parts look excellent. Packing did suck it was the original box buldged out with a few strips of packing tape holding it together. I gave the product 5 stars not the shipping.
Makes loading the boat an easy task

Night and day difference now loading the boat! No longer need to mess around with the sometimes troublesome task to align the boat on the trailer in the water since the bunk boards do it for you! Especially useful when it's windy or when boating alone! PRODUCT WORKS AS INTENDED. I added an extra layer of chrome/galvanized color paint to the metal before installing to help prevent rusting since I do sometime launch into saltwater and live in the north west where we get plenty of rain.
Well made. Easy install. So much easier to get back on the trailer.

Really nice guide-on boards. Black 'carpeting' is carefully wrapped and appears to be held on very securely. Kit came complete with all hardware and went together easily. As an absolute rookie boat launcher and retriever, these definitely make getting the boat back on the trailer quite a bit easier. From the beginner's perspective, I think the horizontal boards provide more guidance than the 'goal post' guide-ons.

This went on an older simple trailer for a 16' aluminum fishing boat. Because of the relatively small rectangular trailer frame members, there is a significant amount of threaded U-bolt tail that projects up from the frame. The long tail does make it somewhat tedious to tighten the nuts during the initial install, but once it's done, it's done. Probably better to have longer bolts to make this work with trailers that have larger frame stock. One of these days I may unbolt the arms and use an angle grinder to trim the tails a bit, but it's a low priority...
These are awesome. I was having problems with getting my boat ...

These are awesome. I was having problems with getting my boat on the trailer straight. Several times I had to put my trailer/boat back in the water since the boat came out tilted. Since adding these bunk guide on the boat is more easily positioned on the trailer. It does a great job of preventing the waves from making the boat go on the trailer crooked. Since the boat is on straight winching is much much easier.
They work fine, but they need to be trimmed about 5"

They work fine, but they need to be trimmed about 5", or they will scratch the bottom of the boat.
