Perko is the best, HANDS DOWN
MICHAEL•July 23, 2018
I buy these on a occasional basis and have tried others and regretted it. Never had one fail. Perko is the best, HANDS DOWN. Don't settle for less when it comes to your expensive batteries. Buy the best!
When u go 2 miles offshore, u don’t want a cheap battery switch going bad

When u go 2 miles offshore, u don't want a cheap battery switch going bad. Switched out my old one and works perfect.
No more dead batteries or surprises...
Jeff Hackney•May 5, 2018
I have always been worried about a dead battery out on the water, and shut everything off when we tie up or anchor out. I replaced the single battery with 2 deep cycle Marine batteries on each engine and installed the Perko selector switch and now I can lay back and relax with just one battery bank being used. When the day is over, no worries about something draining the batteries, just shut them all off. Some people complain about battery switches because their radio loses the stored channels and time. Just run a constant hot from 1 battery and connect to the constant 12V line (usually yellow) to one battery and you will not lose your channels or the time on you clock. If it runs your battery down, you just switch to the other battery to start, then to ALL and your 2nd battery will start recharging! A MUST for boaters on big lakes and for fishermen using a trolling motor!!

good product but I will not use it to cut off since this might stress elec. system. my use will be to parellel dual battery system in unlikely event of low battery.

Just what the "doctor" ordered. Now we are not perpetually recharging or replacing boat battery.
