I purchased this switch to prevent my battery from going dead between boat uses. The installation was quick and easy and the switch appears to be doing its job. I haven't used the boat since the install but I did test it out on the trailer. Battery seams to be holding now. I would have given it 5 stars if the SS screws came with the unit, however, they didn't.
The new one bolted right into the holes where the old one was - super easy swap

Battery Saver! I have an amp leak on boat when it is powered off which was draining my battery. I haven't had any issues in the past year since I installed the disconnect switch.

This switch worked great to disconnect my battery from the boat while on the trailer or not in use. prevents the battery from being drawn down in the event a radio or other accessory is inadvertently left on.
