Very much like home made. Not too salty, nor does it have any "can" after taste. I've lived most of my life in the South, and have eaten sausage gravy whenever & whereever I could find it, even some made with a packaged dry mix; if I can't find fresh made, I'll go with this. Good over sliced tomatoes.

I love this brand of prepared turkey gravy. It is not as salty as most, but has a great flavor. It is also a better consistency than the stuff you make from an envelope. I can sometimes find it in my local store around the holidays, but I bake turkey year-round, and at other times, can't find this gravy. So, I went ahead and ordered this box of 8. Now I don't have to wait for Thanksgiving!
