The Correct way to use the scale is step one foot on so it "wakes up" and gives a count down like: 1,2,3 and then 00.00 Once its at 00.00 you have to hurry and stand on it then, thats when you stand on it and wait 3 seconds and it gives very accurate weight, once you start getting goofy numbers, its time for a new battery. Mine has lasted 6 months, but use it every day.

I didn't purchase this scale through Amazon but I do own one. It is a reasonably priced digital scale that tracks your weight for up to 2 people. That feature is very nice to have. The scale appears to be accurate and is very easy to use. My only con for this scale is that it doesn't feel very sturdy. After standing on it for the first time I was almost afraid I would break it. The scale says it gives accuarte reads for up to 330 lbs and I am 234lbs it hasn't broken yet.

I am surprised to find how many negative reviews there are for this product. I've owned this for about 11 years now and it has never given a problem. Just changed the battery for perhaps the 2nd or 3rd time on all of those years. It seems the main complaint is how the weight can vary within moments of being weighed yet my scale always shows the same weight when I step off, reset it to zero, and step back on.
We don't use it to track weight per person. I forgot it had this feature. I found directions elsewhere but they are hard to follow. I just use a little 2"x3" spiral notepad to track weight over time anyway.
