Great sensors for rooms that can't use Smoke Detection (Near Oil Burner, Garage, etc.)
Made in CortlandtMarch 18, 2018
Great sensors. Replaced 20+ year existing ones.
Very solid mount - no chance of falling or getting lose by itself.
Tested Rate of Rise with Hairdryer Method - working fine.
Great for the garage and attic

I just got one for the new house. Have been using these in my old place for 5 years with no false alarms. Good piece of mind in the garage over the cars and in the attic when monitored 24/7 by a good alarm system. Attic fires can get you killed because living space smoke detectors may not be triggered by fires in you attic or garage before it's too late to bail out.

Worked for me.

Fairly easy to install for medium level DIY. Make sure this is compatible with your alarm system resistor arrangement.
Great for garage/basement areas where smoke not appropriate.

Exactly what I needed. New house did not have garage/utility room covered for fire. These areas tend to be drafty so a smoke detector is not appropriate, but a 135F with rate of rise is. Tested the ROR with a hair dryer, works perfectly.
