This was a nice sight but it did not work on my Rota over/ under shotgun barrel.
Pretty good for the price

Pretty good for the price, didn't really do what I thought it would, but it's nicer than a brass bead, but it's not amazing. I was hoping it would, sorta, amplify low light, or really pickup the light from my tactical light. It does not. It's useless in low or dark conditions. What it IS good at is in bright light, and it REALLY stands out against a background. A brass bead can get lost in trees, clouds or even in the colors on a pheasant or whatever. this does a great job of standing out so you don't loose your sight while moving across a visually complex background or your target.

To start I have a Taurus PT111 G2. I purchased this as it was highly recommended from enthusiasts who own this firearm. It fits after grinding off 2 threads from the original screw. Doing so is not for the faint of heart. It's very easy to take too much off. After about 2 days the red optic cracked. It really sucks that there isn't a good aftermarket selection for these pistols because there is a demand but no supply. Using this universal front sight is pretty good as long as it doesn't break. I didn't even get to to take it out to shoot. It was my daily carry choice. Take what you will from this review but I'm going with the original sight and red and green glow-on super phosphorescent paint for sights.
