Missing a part - Leaks

I had read other reviews on this leaking after installation. Mine did also. On investigation, the plunger was missing the rubber grommet (washer) that actually seals this.
Fortunately, I had a misc. set of faucet washers and one fit. otherwise I would have had to return it after removing the old one, which broke on removal. check to make sure you have this attached to the plunger before removing the old unit.

The top cap is chromed plastic and smaller than the Nibco it is replacing.
But the internal parts fit perfect and my leaks are over.
The package I received even says 'fits Nibco 90' ; where as the picture on the Amazon page does NOT say this.

Fit's but a little on the cheap side.

Just what you need to rebuild the faucet. But buy two, they are not as "robust" as the ones your taking out so you will most likely be replacing them again next year. This one will not last you 10yrs like the original ones did.
