Knife is ultra sharp now

I have a whetstone knife sharpening block, but since I'm no professional with knife sharpening skills, I bought this one because of the good reviews. It arrived quick. And it sharpens hella great. Cutting a carrot almost seemed like a hot knife cutting through a block of butter. Definitely works. Definitely recommend this product.

Very pleasantly surprised. Have had a couple of knives for years that were just stored away because I could never get a workable edge no matter how hard I tried. Pulled them through this about 6-7 times and they are now perfectly usable. If your looking for a $5 sharpener that gives you a razor edge, this isn't it. However, if you want something that is easy to store and makes a great serviceable edge in less than a minute, this little unit is a great choice. Such a simple thing; but that's usually how it is - simple works best.
Wicked sharp edges like new again in just a few minutes!

A friend recommended this gadget to me, he swears by it for keeping knives deadly sharp. OK, I'll give it a try I thought, not very expensive, I was a bit skeptical. I have some good kitchen knives and several hunting knives in need of re-sharpening. When it arrived I went over a small 6" paring knife and a larger santoku blade chopping knife. They weren't abused but merely had lost their keen edge since new. Boy, this really did the trick! In just a few minutes and some easy strokes through the steel wheels produced a wicked sharp edge on each knife. Very fine, light metal shavings were removed as the edge is restored, and wow they cut like new after treating them to being dressed with the Rada sharpener. Occasionally I will pull them through before use a few times, but it doesn't take much at all. I store them on a magnetic, plastic-covered knife bar to protect the keen edges from dulling. Highly recommended for all knives, except for serrated blades like bread knives which it will NOT work for

Honestly the best sharpener I have ever used. I've got a variety of stones, rods and quick sharpeners and this simple device still hones the edges of my knives to shaving sharpness better than any of them in about 20-30 seconds. I stumbled on this sharpener in the drawer of a cabin and tested it on a whim. I was blown away. Say what you want about the blade edge angle and yada yada yada, this little gem sharpens 'em up like butter.

I thought, "Hmm, all these positive ratings... is something up?? Nope, it's really that good. I am accidently dulling knives by hittng the fork or whatever and this thing is sharpened everything back to new. When I first got it and saw how good it worked, I went and did the whole drawer! Perfect for any kitchen knife. Since this is so good, when I actually need a new knife, I think I'll try Rada since this thing is made so well.
