I have installed these basic systems in previous homes I've lived in. Inexpensive but effective. You'll still have to have a backup battery and a siren, and don't lose the resistors. I would have given this product five stars, but it didn't come with a programming manual, which you HAVE TO HAVE in order to program this unit. Fortunately, I was able to download one from the internet.

If you notice this picture of the NetworX NX-4 it looks like you get the LCD control panel. However what I got was the LED control panel. I was unhappy that I didn't receive the one that was shown.
Also service from the company is not very helpful. Had to call several times before I finally got the help I needed. The manufacture of this product will not help the end user at all. Most be a dealer to get any help from the manufacturer.

Product was shipped timely, well packed and operated correctly on start-up.
Rating four-star only due to lack of useful documentation. Had to dredge net to find docs adequate to program the controller.
