Works but wings tend to stick closed.
Won't slide through organic materials - too bulky.

This turner is too bulky, so it doesn't slide in and out easily. Very difficult to push through. I need a compost turner that is slim with a sharp point like a spear. The double blade concept is a great idea, but it just doesn't work when the blades are so bulky. I had to return mine. I will keep looking.

It does a good job. I need to twist it to break through a new thick layer of grass but that is ok. Grass breaks down quickly. I have to retighten the side handle often. I will get a cup shaped external-toothed lockwasher to remedy that.

Didn't work at all. The top of the compost pile was grass clippings, didn't go through at all, and I pushed hard. So I moved those aside and tried it on the kitchen scraps underneath, still didn't go through them. Pushed those aside to the chicken poop which was much softer, and it still didn't go through. Luckily return shipping was free. The picture makes it look like the tip is super pointy, but it's flat and wide.
