I absolutely LOVE these!!! I bought two and am going to get more as gifts. I hate cardboard or Styrofoam egg crates. The bend and my Grandkids have dropped I don't know how many eggs on the floor trying to get them out of the cooler. These heavy plastic containers keep the eggs safe, are easy to pick up and they LOCK!!! I would recommend these to anyone!!!

Like most Lock and Lock food storage containers, the cereal dispenser is high quality and seems durable. It is important to note, however, that it is NOT airtight as Lock and Lock claims. Yes, it has the same kind of silicone seal around the edges of the top, and it locks in place firmly. But the dispensing door on the top has no seal; it is just plastic-on-plastic. If you give the container a squeeze, you can hear air moving in and out of the dispensing door. Otherwise, I like the container a lot. It is well made and spacious, yet fits well in a typical kitchen cabinet. The dispensing door has a click stop to latch open so it won't flop down when you pour cereal out. I only wish that there were an airtight seal around the door because I bought it to keep ants out of my cereal. I haven't had any insect problems yet, but Lock and Lock needs to be honest about their product.

Haven't been able to use this yet. I buy large sweet (vidalia) onions and this container is too small to hold it. But I love, love, love lock&lock, have a pantry full of it so I know I will find a purpose for this one too.

Was worried it would be huge given other review comments, but a good size for a full stick of butter. Cut guides are kind of useless since most don't measure for table use. I like that it doesn't make a big mess when opening or closing and seems to have a good tight seal

I love these containers by Lock & Lock. Easy open even when my arthritis is acting up, but they seal completely. These containers keep cereal, bisquick, flour--anything put in them, fresh & they keep bugs out.
