and really easy to install
James F. Quilici•May 3, 2018
If you have a camping trailer or a motor home these are a cats meow....they keep the yellow jackets and spiders from moving into your trailer and messing up your refrigerator , hot water tank, heater, and really easy to install.....my first trailer I did not install any of these insect screens , and all of a sudden our refrigerator would not light....took it to a repair shop....and all it was was a spider spun a web in a wrong place.
Insect Screen
htg1969•April 25, 2018
Screens are essential to keeping wasps and other flying insects from entering your RV and causing damage. I do not prefer to use the included springs, which are a giant pain to install in most applications. I use .32 steel safety wire and wire mine into place which is super easy and saves me tons of time and aggravation. The screens are also much more secure and I never have to worry about them coming off.
Perfectly sized screen, but truly awful installation method
Cary Alburn•January 29, 2018
Because we have yellow jackets in our yard, I thought that this would be a necessary addition, to protect the heater of our new small motorhome. It's the perfect size. But installing it turned out to be a pain in the neck, with a relatively untrustworthy method of hooking flimsy springs to the heater outlet. Surely, Camco could come up with a much better method! So although I did install it according to the instructions, using the tool that came with it, I also added a piece of SS safety wire from my airplane tool kit--otherwise, I have little doubt that it would soon be lying along the road somewhere.
Screen is fine - springs too long for my Atwood
Jack•October 25, 2017
The springs provided were too long to hold this screen tightly. I did use them to attach the screen, but certainly not as per instructions and I am not really satisfied by the outcome, but it has stayed on for 1,000 miles so far.
I had an Atwood heater and it looked just like the image in the information and in the instructions. The springs were simply longer than the distance from the cross bar on the heater grille to the furthest distance on the screen.

They fit!
Lisa E•October 9, 2017
This is on our Jayco 2017 264bh and it fits. It is not as snug as would like. The springs almost seem too long. I had to use my jewelers pliers to bend it to fit. The springs seem cheap and I wish they would include extras. I love the idea of it keeping critters out and living in Florida they are necessary! I do not like how hard it is to figure out which product fits your RV. This worked but other screens I bought for other things I needed covered did not.
