Truly grand addition to our home. Chimes are wonderful. Arrived by truck freight exactly when promised. I helped the driver bring the box in the house and set it close to the final location. It didn't take long to unpack and place the clock in its permanent location. Instructions were clear and accurate. It is critical for the cabinet to be exactly level in all directions. I thought I had it that way but after starting the clock the beat was not correct. I then did a better job of leveling the cabinet and the beat was then exactly correct. My only minor disappointment (and it is quite minor) is that even though there is a light inside the clock, it is not possible to read the time when the room is dark. The light illuminates the inside movement and does show through the moon dial, illuminating stars in the graphics. The main clock face is totally dark and cant be read until a room lite is turned on. Again, no big deal but it would be nice to read it when the room is dark.

My wife and I will cherish this fine clock for many years. I highly recommend this clock.

This is an amazingly beautiful Grandfather clock! The finishes and construction are absolutely flawless and the quality is amazing. The clock arrived by special freight carrier, was easy to setup and immediately changed the entire atmosphere of the room where we placed it. In fact, it is so majestic, my wife was saying we need a "grander" house to put it in.
I'm very happy with this purchase and it will be an heirloom item to pass down to generations!
