Clock looks nice except for a ding out of wood that I have to touch up. What is dissapointing is the chime. Omg it sounds like a preschoolers toy that needs new batteries. I'm sure they could of put a louder and more chime like sound into these clocks.

My mother always wanted a Grandfather clock, but could never afford the one she wanted to buy. At first when i came across this Grandfather Clock, i was a bit skeptical, but after reading some of the other reviews i thought why not give it a shot. The clock arrived in a timely manner, very easy to assemble and i must say that it was love at first site when my mother saw this clock. It is absolutley gorgeous and i must agree that this picture here does not do it justice. It looks way more expensive than what i paid for it. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I hope my review helps with your purchase decision!
