First one i purchased came damaged, inlet valve was bent. Called amazon and they overnighted me another one! Couldnt be happier. Torch works amazing, the adjustability is insane, can make a small subtle flame or an all out burn anything torch. Def recommend the TS8000 over the TS4000, you can set the adjusment low enough that it will be as subtle as the ts4000 with the advantage of being able to turn it all the way up and let er rip!
Just buy it. Should have done it years ago. Comes with ZERO buyers remourse.

Why did I not buy this thing years ago? I use it all the time for so many things I would not have guessed I would have. Don't even think about questioning your purchase on this. It will pay itself off in spades.
Great upgrade from the simple torch

For many years, I have used the simple propane version of this. I grew tired of trying to find a lighter or striker and sometimes propane just doesn't put out enough heat. This sucker works great, much better than the basic version, and does so for both MAP gas and propane. The self starter feature alone is worth the upgrade and the better nozzle design even more so makes up for the cost. I did notice that with propane that it doesn't always strike up on the first pull but nearly always does on the second pull (no biggie). On MAP gas it will strike up every time and does so with a satisfying roar, much like a mini fighter jet turning on afterburner. This is truly a professional tool with the only possible upgrade would be to a full oxy/acetylene torch outfit. However the portability of this is unmatched for the power it produces. The price for this is unbeatable, especially for such a well known brand.
