Everything is great about it except the flexible tubing...

I actually have 2 of these now. I do triathlons and getting out of the aero position to drink really slows me down since I have to reach down take a swig and put the water bottle back in the cage (either below or behind me). Now, all I have to do is tip the straw in my mouth and drink up. When the reservoir goes empty, I pull a water bottle out of one of the cages and use the quick fill top (the cut up neoprene cap). I find that by shoving the bottle's nozzle in there and squeezing the bottle about 4 times empties it completely into the reservoir. Great system. They also provide a yellow coiled up plastic thing that looks like a shower pouf sponge. This device you are supposed to stuff into the neck of the reservoir to prevent splashing of liquid out of the top. It actually works. Wash it out really well after use though.

The only real problem with the kit is that the soft clear flexible tubing really smells bad. It also makes whatever you are drinking taste like the tubing. Absolutely horrible. They need to change whatever material they use to make it into something completely different. I usually throw away the clear tubing and cut a piece of clear tubing from my old CamelBak system that had too much tubing. That clear tubing is smell and taste free (even when new). (update 7-9-2014 new CamelBak link the old product was discontinued) Pure Flow Replacement Tube by CamelBak

Also, just to make things clear, you have to buy the Profile Design Aero Drink Bracket to make this system work with whatever aerobar system you use since the width between the bars may vary.

Another issue is that the drink bottle takes up a large portion of space up front. If you have your cyclocomputer (speedo, GPS, etc) mounted in between the aerobars you will need to relocate it elsewhere.

Somehow, this item listed as a "toy" so ignore my star rating with regards to that.
Could be a great product but requires some "enhancements"

I bought this last summer for my new tri bike and ultimately I'm happy with it, enough for four stars. Here are my issues:

- If you are riding outdoors in the heat the liquid will heat up quick, the bottle is just plastic, nothing to prevent heat loss. I'm looking at building an enclosure for it with Styrofoam to help reduce the heat loss.
- I bent my drinking tube using a heat gun so it would sit where my mouth could get to it. The tube hole is loose enough that the tube would twist around during a ride. I drilled the hole out slightly and added a rubber grommet that keeps the tube where I want it.

I'll more than likely purchase another later in the spring and make the same mods.

I like the bottle - I used to use it with just the elastic bands before I got the bracket, which was fine if a pain to remove the bottle and clean. I just got the bracket though and while the bracket itself is fine, the miscellaneous velcro straps and adapters are truly terribly designed. Go with the YouTube video that tells you to scrap the velcro and use zip ties instead to attach bracket to bars - lighter and more secure. I also modified the front strap to avoid having to thread it through both sides of the bracket when you have the bottle already in, which is a huge pain. Get out your scissors and your stapler or hot glue gun.
Convenient and aero

For my Fuji Norcom 1.3 TT bike this bottle works. I took out the yellow scrubber pad and filled to the top there is some spillage, but since I just use water and not a sports drink I can live with a few droplets hitting my legs when I start. I replaced the stiff straight up sticking drink tube with flexible clear tubing I bought at the hardware store. The flexible tubing can be bent down and it also doesn't get in my way when I am in my most aero position. I use with the Profile Design Universal Bracket. All in all convenient to use and I in certain circumstances I believe makes my bike more aero.
he said it was good and easy to use

Bought this for my husband as a present to use for his triathlons. He used it for the first time last weekend, he said it was good and easy to use. The only thing he did find was the drinking tube was a little sharpe at the end and he had to be careful not to scratch the roof of his mouth. I did suggest putting a rubber end on like ones on camelbacks. He's to try this still. The other thing is my husband didn't have aero bars on his bike so he had to buy some so he could fit the bottle, but it worked out well as he found these really useful as he never used them before. The bottle comes with the tube and sponge and you can decide to use the hole in the bottle for the straw or through the top sponge diaphragm. But if the diaphragm is used the drink does come out of the hole.
