Fobus HP-2 paddle Holster
Perry T. Foos✓ Verified Purchase•January 14, 2017
This HP-2 Fobus holster is a good idea but a little rough at first. When you first get the holster you put your gun in it gets stuck but you can get it out. Grab the holster in such a way that you can use your thumbs to push it out and it will come out. Keep on doing this for a little while. Then just put your Hi Point gun and let it sit in the holster over night and some of the day. Take your gun out of the holster and it will be much easier to take out and put it back in. You will be able to break it in. This holster will work for only for the gun made for this holster. This really is a good holster for the money. Great job Fobus!
... then put my gun in it and let it cool down. really no difference then I tried it ...

heres the trick I read the reviews and yes it is too tight I put it in the oven at 250 for 20 min then put my gun in it and let it cool down .really no difference then I tried it again I placed two quarters between the plastic where the trigger guard goes in that's where I was too tight baked another 20 ,min let it cool down with the quarters in place this worked great .
and he loved the outcome

This product was just what I was looking for.
The only issue I had was that it was nearly impossible to draw my pistol out of it. Even while I held the holster in my hand it was very tough at pulling it out. But I'm a very innovative person so I got out my Dremmel tool and proceeded to grind down the pinch area (the trigger area inside the holster) and it now comes out much easier.
My brother ordered his first and I knew I had to have it. We both have the same firearm so I knew what to expect.
Once I solved the issue with drawing the firearm out I took it to my brothers and he asked me to do the same for him, and he loved the outcome.
My old holster was nylon material and the weight of the pistol caused the holster to sag and bunch up and made it hard to conceal.
So over all I am very pleased with this product and would recommend others to purchase it.

I worked the plastic to loosen that area up a bit and it works fine. I've seen the same problem with Fobus paddles ...

With all due respect to the ones who claim this is not a hi point paddle holster, you are all 100% incorrect. It is extremely tight, that is correct but the friction hold is around the trigger guard where the plastic splits open, I worked the plastic to loosen that area up a bit and it works fine. I've seen the same problem with Fobus paddles for other guns as well, that doesn't mean its not sold as claimed, it means as with many molded holsters, it needs to be broken in and loosened up a bit, that's all. Its supposed to be tight, that's how these work and this works fine with the c9 after you do that.
This holster is perfect. Holds my gun securely

This holster is perfect. Holds my gun securely. I put it yhe oven for 10 minutes at 250 degrees to soften it then stuck my gun in it and let cool off, formed perfect to my gun.
