I had used these for a post-exercise massage in overseas gyms a couple of times and forgotten about it until a recent trip. Being an early riser, I awoke early and went to the gym for a light travel workout. Each morning I used this to massage my back (chronic problem) and I just felt great all day. Time to get one for daily use.
Assembly: The assembly was intuitive, the Allen wrench is included. I tightened the screws again after a week's use. The motor placement above the handle bars makes it a bit top heavy..
Belts: Yes, it is possible for two people to use at once. One would have to stand in front of the machine, the other on the machine pad. I'm only using one belt and saving the other as a replacement; however, it seems quite durable and has shown no wear after a month. The speeds are adjustable and the hilariously translated user manual suggests what body types should use each setting. After sports, my middle schooler used it on the kid setting and enjoyed it.
Massage: I get regular therapy massages and this allows me to space them farther apart and feel better during the interim.

This is a scaled down model of the one l used at the gym in the 70's. It is a great size for a home though. Easy to move. Lightweight. Wasn't expecting to lose weight but was expecting a vibrant all over massage. It didn't disappoint on level 5. The part of the belt touching the body gives a thorough massage, but the part of the belt from the machine until it reaches the body shakes violently. I have to hold it in place which can be a little painful to the hands.

Here's my answer to some of the complaints. First, the motor IS powerful enough if the machine is used properly. You CANNOT load 400 lbs onto the machine and lean back full weight and expect this machine to operate properly. Even a DIESEL ENGINE wouldn't work in that case. You lean back just enough to take the slack off the strap and the machine works just fine and will shake your fat vigorously.
Second, I suspect some folks HAVEN'T READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET. There are FIVE SETTINGS to increase the shaking. The machine comes already set on 5 which is the MILDEST setting. You have to turn the two knobs on the sides (with the numbers on the inside surface) to the setting you want. Setting on 1 will shake your fillings loose. MAKE SURE BOTH KNOBS ARE ON THE SAME SETTING.
This machine does everything I want it to do. It shakes up my internal organs and loosens up my back muscles. You know it's working because it will give you "pink belly".

This is a great product. I've had it for 6 years now, and I recommend it not for actually losing weight (you need to exercise and eat right for that), but for massaging muscles, getting out cramps, etc. it can be used in almost any part of the body, and it's sturdy enough to last.
One of the belts has started to break but it still works fine, and I've already purchased a new one online (I think there's a link mentioned in one of the comments). Several family members have tried it when vacationing with us, and they love it. My dad has suffered from back pains almost as long as I've been alive and just a regular routine of less than 30 minutes a day, and he was feeling fantastic all day long.
This works, and I don't remember any smells. It used to come with some gyrating plate to stand on, too, but I've never used it and don't know where it ended up.
Again, thumbs up. There could be more variety in the belt design (other models have different belts with rotating wheels and stuff) but that's nitpicking.
