Bought the black denim with tinted windows looks great on my tan Jeep

Was nervous about replacing the top on my 1999 se Wrangler because of uneven reviews but this top was a huge improvement and made the Jeep new again for me. Take your time putting it on and YouTube videos will help a lot. Bought the black denim with tinted windows looks great on my tan Jeep.

At this price point though, we didn't expect perfection. We have been very impressed with the top so far. Amazed since it was so inexpensive.
Installation was not bad - would have been much smoother had my husband read the directions before attaching it upside down to the header panel. Luckily, that was an easy fix! There is a slight fitment issue on the drivers side. It seems just a bit too far, maybe 3/4-1", forward where top hooks onto door surrounds. However, it doesn't seem to interfere with overall fit - top does fit tightly. It is surprising quality for the price.
It is amazingly quiet. We get more noise from the seatbelts rattling in wind with windows out than from the top. When windows in, still quieter than expected - can hear stereo & hold a conversation with no problem. There is some noise, but if you have a Jeep, then you should be used to it.
The fabric seems heavy enough to last for awhile. Its not as heavy as OEM, but it is a good, hefty weight. The color is good. We got black denim. It is a black with a slight grey cast - almost perfect match to our slightly faded fenders.
The windows are a nice dark tint. Very nice on super sunny days! The zippers seem sturdy & strong. The teeth are substantial.
Have had no issues with the top (other than slight fitment issue). Definitely no leaks. After all the rain we have had, if there was a leak, the TJ would be full of water.
We had needed a replacement top and we needed it fast - got 1 day shipping. Had it on just in time for a club trail ride. Have had this on our 2001 TJ for about a month now. We have had no issues zipping windows in and out or putting top up or down. Still amazed we got it at such a low price point. It has really surprised us with its quality and performance.
