I was a bit disappointed in the fit at the ankle. In the photos, it's shown as more snug and tight around the ankle but is actually very loose just above the foot - more like a big pirate boot than what I wanted them for and looks kinda ridiculous. Otherwise good.

Unsure of the quality. Boots are very light weight and soles are glued on. Read other reviews that said boots fell apart as in sole detached from uppers. Bought because options are limited for this costume accessory.

For $50 boots, I can't complain. I don't know how well they might hold up walking around a Ren Faire, but indoors at a convention, these are amazing for the price.

Fit just like the other reviews have said. The calf part of the boot is a little tight but I ordered up one size and it fit with no problems. But I need to wear thick socks or an extra pair so my feet don't move around too much. And the very top can be folded into the boot, which worked out great for my Cobra Commander Costume.
