Love the cabana!

We got our cabana! I set it up in the living room to make sure I could do it and to make sure we had all the parts. It took probably five minutes to set it up after I figured out how to do it. It is a lot bigger than I had pictured. I really like the attached bags to put sand in at the beach. This will be so much easier to set up at the beach than an umbrella. Now looking forward to trying it out! My daughter is already filling it up to play in.

It's not difficult to set up, just a little bit of a hassle that could be avoided with a pop-up style tent. I have small kids and wish I'd gone that route sheerly for convenience. The design provides shade effectively only certain times of day unless you're occasionally unstaking it and turning it. I used this at the beach and wasn't going to face away from the water, so there were times it didn't work as I needed it to.
Worth the buy! Use a lot during the summer

This thing is great! We keep it in our car so we have it every time we go to the beach or camping or where ever we might need it. Had it about 2 years now and it's held up fantastically! Only thing, you might need to bring a few large rocks with it if you are going somewhere that doesn't have any rocks or sand and is windy. Has four pockets for rocks or sand instead of needing stakes. A heavy bag and or cooler inside works too.

We loved the Calypso Cabana Beach Shelter AFTER we were able to finally put it up. It looked so easy to do, but was rather complicated. I wish I had tried to set up it up in my backyard prior to setting it up on the beach.
You're going to need three people to set it up. One person to hold the front part up. Another person in the back to set it in the sand. And a third person to actually "shape" and bend the tent poles on the sides.
After it is set up, it is actually really useful and large enough for three adults to lay their top halves in the cabana with their legs sticking out.
We've only used it once, but I'm sure after a couple of times setting it up, it will get easier and easier to use.

Easy setup

While we were are the beach our umbrella broke in a strong gust of wind. So I got online to look for a replacement. I came across this and had to order it. This tent comes with a bag for easy carrying. The tent has a windows so that you can see out the the back side of the tent. My husband and I decided to set this tent up before taking it to the beach. We didn't realize that the instructions are stitched to the inside of the big bag. We didn't have a hard time figuring out how to put it together. After the initial setup it is pretty easy to set up. There are 4 sandbags attach at the corners. The tent does supply a good amount of shade. The tent stayed in place even after a windy day a the beach. If you understand basic tent folding the tent isn't hard to fold to put back in the storage bag. I like that the tent has the windows on it. I was able to keep an eye on my little ones when they were playing behind the tent. The windows are closable to block out any sun that might be getting in. These is a nice tent and we look forward to using it several more times at the beach. Hopefully other places too.
