These are the same rings I have used for many years on several rifles. They are a little tricky to get the scope mounted level because the scope will turn a little as the screws are torqued. They are my favorites.

I used these to mount my Leupold VX1 3-9 X 40 on a Ruger American .17 and they are simply perfect. You can install or remove the scope from a Weaver base mount in seconds, and even the mounts don't get in the way when I remove the scope and use the iron sights.
