I bought this chair after seeing some other people with the chair at a concert in the park. Turned out to be too stiff to open and hard for me to do it. Also, the chair back was too low to give me good back support that I need. I returned it.

Only disappointed that the price has doubled now that it is time to consider replacing the chairs; my pay has not doubled. :(
We have only left them out in the rain a handful of times, left in the NC sun multiple times, overall care has been so/so. However at 5 years of regular use these are still usable (not so pretty anymore).

This chair is the lightest heavy-duty chair I have ever owned. It is easy to carry, even over long distances, since it's height allows it to be used as an effective walking support. Mine has been through quite a beating and still looks new. The fabric is very tough and stain resistant. The metal frame is light as a feather. It's also easy to fold up and unfold as needed. It's moderately comfortable, even after long periods of sitting.
But I have 3 criticisms of this chair:
1.) The fold-out table bears almost no weight. It constantly folds down while holding anything heavier than a cup of coffee and a pair of sunglasses. I have reinforced the folding arms so they can be locked into place with some metal sleeves that slide down over the folding joints. Now it bears up to around 25 pounds dependably.
2.) The arm covers and the side-storage panel are annoying. They are constantly coming off while I carry the chair. I have to go back and get them when they fall off. The velcro fasteners just don't do the job. I have pop-riveted mine on permanently to keep them from falling off all the time. This means I won't be able to wash them, but it's worth it. You don't need to keep making trips back to pick up the panels when they fall of as you're carrying them around.
3.) It's moderately tippy on uneven ground. This might have been improved by flipping the U-supports at the bottom of the legs so that they're not flush with the ground. They're heavily riveted on, so I can't flip them myself.
I use mine mostly as a fishing chair for fishing from shore.
It's the best one I've ever owned!
