Cute little hat that gives plenty of coverage. the only down side is that the front flap falls down in my grandson's eyes during swimming lessons. I prefer a bucket hat that he comes out out of the water and can see. Maybe if the front wasn't so long & if it had velcro at the neck instead of ties it would be perfect. It is an attractive hat for a little guy depending what you are using it for.

Excellent sun protection! We've been traveling to sunny places and spending a lot of time in the water this summer. Bought this hat for our 1 year old (whose head is on the larger side) to protect him from the sun/sunburn. I like that it ties to keep the hat on then he is not able to pull it off. (He didn't like wearing it at first but now he doesn't mind at all) It keeps the sun off his neck and entire face. Highly recommend!

Lightweight, nice fabric, good protection. Wore it in the water with no issues, kid didn't tug at it or seem like it bothered him at all once it was on. (and he normally hates hats and rips them off. I think the brim is a good length, long enough to protect his face, but not so big enough to block his view as that's usually when he pulls hats off, when he can't see well. Yes it's a little dorky, but hey it's "cooler" than a sunburn!

What's great about this is it's SUPER light weight, covers the neck (right, left and back side) and it has a toe below the chin and a tighter/string on the back to adjust it to his head size.
My son HATES hats and pulls them off right away, this one he doesn't mind!
