Flexzilla THIS!
Guitartec✓ Verified Purchase•January 22, 2017
Flexzilla is a lightweight air hose designed to be less of a hassle than a rubber hose. It still knots up a bit, but unknots easily. It is definitely lighter in weight and seems to work well. I have only used it a few times and put it away after each use. Mine does not get hard use and nothing runs over it, so I don't know about its long term durability.
Best hose for mechanics. Amazing price on here.

I have used these hoses for a few years now. This one is just as well built as the ones made years ago. I feared quality would've gone down as other brands do after they get bigger but this hose does great in freezing temps in the morning through blazing sun into the afternoon. SoCal does not treat rubber products nicely but this one does perfect.
Great Hose For High Flowing Air Tools!

Excellent quality hose, I'm sold on Legacy Flexzilla hoses from here on out. For years I've used PVC hoses and dealt with the aggravation of tangling, kinks and stiff hoses. I recently upgraded my compressor and needed a new setup so Legacy was my answer. For my lead in hoses I used: 2' (HFZ1202YW3S) and 4' (HFZ1204YW3S) and my Main hose (HFZ1250YW3). I went with 1/2" hose with 3/8" ends on everything, the larger hose helps keep up the supply demand for impact wrenches and higher flowing air tools. I also purchased a ReelWorks (L201303A) and Rapidair regulator (K93215) from Amazon to complete the system. And multiple trips back and forth to local hardware stores for the fittings and valves etc. I already had a retractable reel with 3/8" hose on the other side of the shop.
For the main hose I paired it with a high flow coupler I purchased at my local hardware store so I won't lose much air flow.
Overall I'm very happy with how the system turned out. After everything was assembled there were no major leaks that I noticed. After about 2 hours I lost roughly 10 PSI in the tank. Eventually I may upgrade the shop plumbing to the Rapidair kit or copper pipping. I can't recommend the Legacy Flexzilla hose enough. Thumbs way up!

I love this air hose. Granted I am coming off of the stock coiled version that comes with a kit from Walmart....but this thing is awesome and wont break the bank as full on rubber hoses of the same size will. I'm quite happy with the Flexzilla brand overall so far. I've looked into more products of theirs as a result. Still researching those but i'll likely buy again from them.
Great hoses

I bought the 50' 1/4" hose to use with my portable compressor. I then cut it to be 15' and 35' and used the Flexzilla replacement end fittings. This worked great. The hose was easy to cut with a razor and their replacement ends went on perfectly.
The replacement ends were their Pro line so this gave me a great opportunity to compare the Pro fitting with the standard fitting. The fittings on both of them are made from aluminum. I think the only thing that's really different is the strain relief. The pro is spiraled and made from a very flexible plastic whereas the standard is a stiff rubber-like material. The spiral strain relief of the pro works leagues better than the strain relief on the regular. However, both do a fine job of getting the strain point away from the metal fitting so i think both will work just fine and not cause you problems. For daily use I'd likely want the pro since the spiral lets it droop a bit better, effectively extending your air tool by a flexible 3" instead of a solid 5" like the standard does.
I also have a 6 year old reel of 3/8" flexzilla hose. The thickness of the 1/4" is obviously much less, but they both have the same amount of flex in them. You can make a very small radius and it still wont kink. Works fine in all weather conditions. However, the hose is somewhat rubbery so it may snag up if you're trying to tug it around a wall corner.
I really love flexzilla hoses and will never go back to using those cheap plasticy hoses again. These are awesome in comparison.
