Great stopping power!

Been running these for a couple of weeks...very happy with the stopping power on my 2005 silverado 1 ton Dually. The first time out I had the usual hot smell, a little funny smell though... I assume from the compound of the pad.
Amazing braking even over the Hawk Super Duty pads

Amazing braking even over the Hawk Super Duty pads! The breakin coating does a great job and makes it much easier to bed the brakes in! Need to put these on the rear now.
Best brakes I have ever had.

Installed Yellowstuff pads and EBC GD series rotors front and rear on my 2006 Silverado 2500HD. The difference over the brakes on the truck was night and day. I don't know what was on the truck as I had purchased it used and this upgrade was in preparation for a long crosscountry trip with a heavy 10 foot camper loaded for four people. I had made one short prior shakedown trip over the Cascade Mountains with the original brakes and suffered from severe brake fade even though I was taking it easy. It was scary on occasion. With this EBC setup I have never had any brake fade even when my 19 foot boat is added to the train. I just replaced my rear pads after 30,00 miles (with the same Yellowstuff pads). The rotors had some wear but not enough to require replacement. Rotor thickness and runout were good though the rotors may wear enough to require replacement the next time the pads are changed. Time will tell. These pads do put out some dust but not too bad in my opinion. Considering the fade resistance and overall brake response and feel I highly recommend this setup.
Best pads

All I can say is WOW. I have a 2002 F350 7.3 4x4 so you know it is a big heavy truck. I installed a 6" lift with 35" tires and the truck just wouldn't stop. I installed a set of the SSBC 8 piston calipers on front and rear along with all new SS brake lines, and the pads that came with the calipers never stopped the truck good either, but better than the stock setup. The truck kept pulling to the left after the install. I tried installing the old brake lines to see if that would cure the problem, no luck. I thought I had a bad caliper so I pulled it apart and everything looked good. After have the tires off and on 5 times I switched the calipers from left to right and right to left. Now it pulled to the right. So I switched the pads from side to side now again it pulled to the left again. BAD pads. The yellow stuff pads fixed the problem. I installed the yellow stuff on the front and rear. After installing them I took if for a test drive and applied the brakes and I almost went through the windshield. Maybe I exaggerated a little, but the truck now stops like a new compact car.

they worked great! noticeable improvement in stopping my surburban 2500. drawback is they wear out fast maybe 6 months....possibility due to terrain and driving style. also make a lot of break dust..
