Perfect backup, useful for equines

I'm a veterinary student and I've been pretty much using a littmann cardiology III for all of my small animal stuff and loved it. However, as I've started equine labs I've found that my old stethoscope was a bit difficult to maneuver up in to certain places (like auscilation of the tricuspid valve in the armpit area) and this stethoscope was recommended to me by one of my equine professors. I used it today on some exams and I was happy with the quality of the sound, it was very light weight and seems durable to use for large animal, and the shape worked really well to help me get in to the places I struggled with before. This will probably become my preferred stethoscope for large animal and it makes a great backup to have for other uses as well.
Is this really stethoscope or is this a toy?

I ordered this because it was lightweight. I've used littmans more many years. This one is very poor quality - can't hear hardly anything! I went right back to my heavier stethoscope.
It’s just ok.

Color is a dirty pink, it's not very pretty. Sound quality is meh. I can hear blood pressure sounds if it's quiet, which it never is. I work as a nurse in a jail and I have to ask my officers to keep it down if I need to do an manual BP. I mostly use an electronic wrist cuff for vitals and recheck BPs with manual if results are not WNL, luckily that's only 2-3 Times a day. The cheap stethoscope I bought for nursing school 5 years ago worked better, but I couldn't remember brand name (bell fell off and I threw it away before checking). I'm a bit disappointed because this brand is supposed to be so good- but I'm not wowed.
A great stethoscope for any medical professional!

The teal color is amazing and the sound quality is superb. My first littman was a higher grade (and more expensive) model and I think the sound on this less expensive one is actually better than that one and for less than half the cost. Because of its light weight feel you can have it on you for hours and not realize its there. Definitely a must for anyone in the medical profession.
Poorly made

My old littman lasted 7 years before it "walked away" on the unit where I was working. This one only lasted 5 months before it broke. I expected better.
