Correct dimensions for my 15-year-old Ideal Deluxe pet door but was very difficult to install due to thicker than original plastic that won't slide into the aluminum channel on the frame. At first I considered shaving off some of the plastic but figured that would make a mess so I lubed the flap up with oil and managed with considerable force to get it to slide into place but, unfortunately, deformed and cracked the flap in doing so. It's not going to last. Do yourself a favor and just buy a complete new door, maybe a different brand, and also buy an appropriate replacement flap at the same time to save yourself grief in the future. What a royal pain in the rear.

I am so happy to have found a replacement flap for my doggy door. SO happy I didn't have to replace the whole door. This replacement flap is awesome, it is super easy to install.
My old flap was hanging by a thread after use by 4 dogs for almost 3 years. This is the same flap as the original that came with my dog door. The last one lasted 3 years so I am confident in saying this is a great quality product at a very reasonable price. I'm so grateful that they sell replacement parts for this. Very, very happy consumer here!

Very easy to install to replace the old one that came with the house we purchased. We did not want to replace the entire doggie door, just the flap. I love the fact that it is totally see through so my dog does have to lift the flap to look inside the house when she needs to and i can also see her outside. My favorite part is how easy it is to clean. A little soap and water to wipe it off and it looks new.

As an owner of 5 huskies (I know we are mad) our dog door gets a lot of use and if it can survive in our house you know its got to be good!

We tend to have the odd chewing around the edges which is why I find the replacement doors very useful. It can be confusing which one to order, the logo is the main indicator, if your logo on your door doesn't match then its probably not the right one! The staff at Ideal Pets were fantastic when I had a query and were even able to offer a replacement of the magnetic strip along the bottom which holds the door closed... very useful as one of our industrious pack decided to see what it tasted like.

We have had our dog door for about 6 years now and this will be the second replacement a result of the odd nibble around the edges letting in a bit of a draft. Other than that it works well, we live in the Blue Mountains just outside of Sydney so we don't get really cold (odd bit of snow a couple of times a year) a fair bit of rain but the door doesn't blow open in the wind or let any rain / snow in (though admitedly the area it opens to is fairly sheltered)

The doors cleans up well, as another question answer mentions, over time (or in hour house not much time!) with use they can get a bit murky and lose it 'clearness' but normally we have found a good clean gets it back nice and clear!

It's very refreshing to purchase a replacement part that is relatively low in cost, good quality and can be installed quickly and easily. My hubby had this flap installed in 5 min and it fits our door perfectly. This flap is clear, whereas the original one was a translucent gray. Our dog & cat seem to like this new see-through replacement. My only regret is that I waited to order the replacement until the old flap had fallen off, so we had to endure a couple chilly days with the cold air coming inside. I ordered two so that we will have a spare. We've been using our pet door for four years and the flap needed replacing about 6 months before we finally bought this one.
