I was reseeding my lawn. I thought it would kill the existing grass when applied with a 3/1 ratio. Mabye 1/1 ratio would of worked, but that would have been 3 times the cost. Grass was mowed to the lowest level and 2-3 of peat moss applied before seeding. Much of the fescue came back with the new low mow grass. I used Phydura last time and it worked; I don't think they sell it any longer (at least not on Amazon).
Works well for an organic product

We are using this to kill Canada thistles in a 1/8 acre organic garden. These thistles have very deep underground runners that come in from the surrounding hay field. This MUST be applied on a bright sunny day -- it won't work unless there are several hours of bright sun on the plants right after application. If so, the thistles turn black and die that very day. What I cannot attest to is whether or not the underground runner roots are being killed as well. A bonus is that it smells great from the active ingredient, orange oil.
Does what it says, for a price.

This worked really well for me as long as I mixed 3:1, and thoroughly coated all of the leaves of the offending weeds. It will not prevent new weeds, or even the old one from coming back. But it will kill whatever is above the ground. I like it for sidewalk and driveway cracks.
For the price, I am not sure it is the best option though. Having to mix at 3:1 and coating so heavily makes this an expensive proposition for long term weed control.

Kills fast

Kills weeds within a half hour. Because it it organic the weeds might come back so perhaps get the gallon size for the summer season. It is pricey but worth it because I truly believe the chemicals in weed killers cause cancer in dogs and this belief unfortunately is from my experience.

This stuff is the business! With the drought in CA my lawn has mostly died. But recent rains have kept the weeds coming back at a pace I can't keep up with. I applied this to the clover, crab grass, foxtails, and young dandelions. Between this stuff and the intense July sun the weeds were brown and crispy within the hour. Will continue to use it after the rains to keep the weeds down in the gravel and mulch beds in my yard. May end up using it to kill the remaining grass in my lawns so I can plant a native garden.
