I'm so grateful for this device!

This little device is a total gem for dehumidifying my hearing aids. I am a sweater under the best of circumstances. Heaven help me when I really get some exercise. I've had this product for about 4 months now. It definitely has increased the life of my batteries and hopefully will also extend the life of my all-too-expensive hearing aids!

I haven't used it yet, but look forward to using it on my upcoming trip. I gave it 4 stars because I already have the Global unit so I know how well it works for my hearing aids. I needed a smaller unit for travel purposes, however I was a bit disappointed that this unit is not much smaller than the Global unit. I am aware of a new smaller unit, but felt that this unit would provide the maximum benefits over a convection dryer.
Be careful about leaving the battery in the hearing aid.

I have an in the ear hearing aid and it comes with a nylon pull cable. This device will melt the nylon pull cable of the hearing aid if you open the battery compartment and leave the battery in it for drying. The drying operation will cause the battery to become very hot which, in turn, melt the nylon pull cable located beside it. Other than this issue which I found out the hard way, this device is pretty good at drying my hearing aid which helped improve its performance.
