- •High level inputs: speaker level inputs are commonly referred to as high-level inputs. It will be used to connect the LOPRO10 to your factory radio or an aftermarket radio that does not have low-level (RCA) inputs
- •Low level inputs: line level inputs, also known as RCA inputs or low-level inputs, use RCA interconnect cables to link the LOPRO10 with the source unit. Most aftermarket radios have multiple pairs of RCA outputs that can connect to multiple amplifiers
- •Variable bass boost: variable bass boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost Range to just the way you like it
- •Dimensions: 15" x 9. 75" x 3". If you are short on space, This is a great solution for you. The combination of amplifier and subwoofer all into one, makes this ideal for spatially challenged vehicles

Installed mine myself 8 months ago. Decided to hold off reviewing till I got a good feel for it. Since sound appreciation is subjective, I had to play around with settings on this unit (and the head unit and external amp) until I got exactly what I wanted. I paired it with the stock Entune Audio Plus unit in my 2016 Camry XSE, a Clarion XC1410 mini-amp and 6 Kicker speakers. The results were amazing! Good clean sound, plenty of thump. I was not looking to rattle windows or announce my arrival/presence with the annoying heavy pounding of bass. I rarely touch the remote bass controller.
I mounted this unit at the back of my rear folding seat, so it too up zero trunk space.
Great quality for the price I paid. Great sound, while retaining precious car interior and trunk space.

I installed this subwoofer in my 2013 WRX using speaker level inputs because the stereo has no line outputs. The subwoofer was barely audible even with the gain and volume turned all the way up. Customer service was quick to access but offered no suggestions other than maybe the input connector was bad... Returned unit for a new one...just installed it and same thing.-UPDATE- Second one had the same issue so I decided to try a speaker to line level converter (using the RCA inputs) and the subwoofer now works well enough. Don't expect to rattle any windows with this...what it does do is nicely round out the low end, and makes the otherwise bass starved Subaru system a little better.
Good for what it is.

It's not terrible for what it is. You can't expect much from a shallow 8" sub and it does add a little bass. You'll likely have to max out the power and bass boost on the amp to get the speaker moving which will eventually put some strain on the amp and cause overheating. It produces its best bass tones from around 120hz to about 200hz. There wasn't any noticeable sound at frequencies below 90hz, as expected. It really is a compact design and probably best for a single cab truck. There are shallow mount subs that perform better, but none that have their own amp and enclosure in one. I would compare this sub to a factory subwoofer installed in a midrange priced vehicle. Not too powerful but adds a little bass where the door speakers can't reproduce certain frequencies.
Good for my purpose

Used the 8" sub-woofer on my Polaris General. Needed a little bass. It works for that. The bass is a little low on the 8". Wish I could fit the 10" but I had just enough room for the 8". We will see how everything does over time. The speaker is hidden, but is still in the open elements. the control knob is a nice touch as well. Altogether a nice unit but would get at least 10's for any vehicle.
A very versatile addition to any audio system

I've had this 10" shallow mount sub for a few days now, and feel as if I've had enough time with it for a review. I installed this in my 2006 Tundra, under the passenger seat. Installation was very easy, and the sub just fit flush with the rear of the seat back.
Fit and finish was much better that I expected; the flat black brushed metal around the enclosure looks fantastic, the grill was sturdy, and all connections, ports, and seams are solid.
Now to the part you have been waiting for: the sound! This puts out great bass. When tuned properly it is clear, crisp, and sounds great overall. Not a door shaker or big air mover, but puts out some great tone, and really fills out the music. Some of the music I put through it is raggae, rap, electronic, and some jazz. All sounded fantastic. In terms of tuning, all the nobs felt solid and provided good adjustment. I like that the bass boost is a nob, not a switch vs other amps as it provides finer adjustments. Also, the included bass adjustment knob is a godsend. Let's you adjust the bass according to your music, or environment. In conclusion this is a fantastic and versatile compact subwoofer that can be mounted in places you couldn't dream of fitting a full sub enclosure! I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants bass, without comprising space.
