Great embossing labeler
Flora Jean✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 9, 2017
I am very happy with my purchase. I choose the embossing label maker due to the 3/8 tape size and the retro font. I created about 50 labels in a row. My hand was a bit tired after squeezing the trigger so many times though. I did make sure I added a space before and after each word so I would have equal spacing on each side.
I didn't want to put the labels on my cabinet so I put them on cardstock and then stuck them to adhesive magents. My cabinet has 52 drawers so labeling them was a huge time saver.
Great little tool to keep organized!

Note that you need to press hard and decisively to make a good imprint or the embossing might be off.
Once in a while, the embossing is also misaligned, but that is okay for me, it just gives the label "character!"
I also realized how bad of a speller I am, when I am done labeling my stuff, and end up having to redo them, because I forgot at what letter I was, and ended up with one extra or one less character that I intended.
i would recommend.

I've had problems with this labeler jamming sometimes if you turn the circle too fast. If you go slow and pull the handle firmly, it works well. The packaging doesn't come with many detailed instructions, so I had to kind of figure it out on my own. It's difficult to load if you haven't used one before. I found a trick online to put the labeler on the "space" and pull the handle as you feed the tape into the labeler until you can see it coming out the front. then cut the excess off. Other than that, i would recommend.
Both ExPress Pro and Office Mate II work well with different font~ Instant gratification!! YES

Last time I had a Dymo label clicker is about 20~30 yrs ago. This one works fine, almost the same as the old one. The trick is to hold down a bit firm as you click for each letter/number, do NOT release too fast, do stay and hold down for half a second before release. If you add a space at the end before cutting, your label will come out better looking as well. However, I do wish it comes with a different font.
UPDATE: I first bought the xPress Pro, it works well, now I have the Office Mate II, it also works just fine, but with larger more square font!! See attatched photo, the real difference between the two models are $$ and font size. The one on the top "CELINE" is from office mate II, bottom label "dymo" is from exPress Pro. Because Office Mate has a tape advancing feed knob, so there is no "space" on the wheel.
My headline in label form would read: QUITE PLEASED

I like making labels and stuff sooooo this thing is pretty spiffy. It's also super satisfying and tedious to make a whole bunch of labels to organize stuff and that's sort of my thing. I also have to mention that it's so nostalgic because my grandma had an old school label maker and i'd always make labels as a young child.... So I guess what I'm saying is it's also a great children's toy.
