this supposed tobe golden sword handle is silver color BEWARE. Seriously
Better looking and more accurate copy than shown in photo, officially licensed by USMC

This is a really pretty good copy of the USMC NCO sword. The price is great, the "brass" on the pommel and scabbard is not silver as it appears in the photo but gold as it should be to be a replica. Although not mentioned in ad, it is stamped on blade as officially licensed by the U S Marine Corps. If you are a vet that is involved in honor guard ceremonies at a veteran cemetery, you should be able to get away with wearing this with
nobody commenting on it negatively. Balanced well enough to do manual of arms for saber. Wouldn't use it to fend off pirates in a boarding action but I don't think anyone has dealt with boarding actions with a sword in quite a few years. A lot of us former Marines are having our 50th anniversary of the time we were "in country" for the Viet Nam war and this would make a great gift for your grand dad, father or husband.
