Although I do love these magnets for my whiteboard and it was the correct size, the description said 12 in a pack for $9. I only received one magnet. Why would I buy one magnet for $9 when I can get a 2-3 pack at my local store for like $3. I sent it back and got a refund.

I use these for holding down sheet music to a heavy, solid music stand. Usually keep several stuck underneath the stand for when it's windy (or people are moving around the stage area). I keep some extras to hand out to other musicians as gifts.
Since my music stand is solid metal, there's more area for the magnet to grab onto; if you are using the collapsible wire music stand, there's not that much metal for the magnet to grab onto, so it won't work as well to hold down the sheet music as, say, wooden clothespins.
These work well for my purpose.

Much larger clips than I expected - which is my fault, as they do give the dimensions in the description. What I love about these clips is that the magnet is strong enough that I can use one clip to hold a full-size legal pad on my board.
Works good, holds more than I expected to the surface we applied to them to (steel lockers)

I should've got the larger ones, but I figured these would work. One of the magnets was separated on delivery, but I just super glued it back on, and I don't expect it to come back off. Works great, holds quite a bit of paperwork when attached to our guy's steel lockers.
Magnets not strong enough.

Magnet was not nearly as strong as I had hoped. I hung a paper calendar/chore chart up with TWO of them and it still wanted to slide.
