Great product

Happy with this sword, but with a few exceptions. The blade actually had a slight edge to it that had to be filed down in order to use it safely with martial arts conditioning. Also, the flags hanging from it were not tied to keep them from falling out. If you are using this for decoration only, then this is the sword for you, but if you are actually using it, then you may need to file down the edge & take off the flags. Overall, a GREAT product!
Very well-made!

I was not expecting much I just needed a broadsword to practice with but this is amazing really well-made. The handle and everything so well-made totally worth the money really happy that I got this!
It is what it is...

If you're looking for a quality show-piece, this is not the sword for you. Conversely, if your just starting out into broadsword, don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a practice weapon, don't want to mess with the flimsy chrome/spring/wushu steel, and want a sword that will hold up to moderate contact, this will work fine for you. The only real disadvantage - in my mind - is the lightness of the sword. I guess this might be to some potential readers' advantage if they lack the wrist and forearm strength to swing around steel with speed and CONTROL, but it feels weird to me.
All in all, it's not a bad tool to have in your arsenal.

Well made for practice, but had a problem with the cord on the handle

It's well balanced and doesn't bend or flop around. However, the cord on the handle came loose after about a week and a half of practice. How do I repair this?
Great tournament weapon at a great price

Great balance, perfect steel weapon for competition since it has a dulled edge. I changed out the paracord wrapping for leather, more personal choice than finding anything wrong. It's inflexible so don't expect to see as much bend with it.
