The bamboo desk organizer is made very well. Heavy bamboo construction. Looks like it will hold hope to my husband's daily use.
The only negative, the drawers are a bit snug. Which, now that I write this review, I believe I remember reading a prior review saying the same thing! I rubbed a bit of candle wax on the edges and it's moving smoothly now. Though, I may have to use sand paper on edges, as another buyer did, if it doesn't work permanently.
Wish the desk organizer had a cut out handle on the back, as my husband will be using this as a "bill-pay center" and wants to carry this to the kitchen table where he pays the bills. (and I DO NOT want this thing, nice as it looks, sitting on my dining table 24/7.
I also ordered the matching mail sorter. It too is made extremely well. Too bad the two pieces aren't the same length and/or depth so they would look nicer side by side. Guess we can't have everything, can we?!!

Like many Lipper products, mine arrived with a crack in the back-panel. It looks like it had been glued in place that way, too, during finishing. Fortunately, I expected this, and a dab of wood-glue plus a few firm whacks with a hammer made everything smooth and lined up again. The rest of it was nicely finished and solid.
This is a large item, wider and taller than I was quite expecting, even having looked at the measurements. That was good for me, because it can fit a roll of duct tape in one of those lower drawers, with room for my mini-binder-clips left over. The upper sections are deep. The upper upright section holds a set of greeting cards on its side and just shows you the very edge of them. The middle upright section will hold pens and pencils securely. The lower upright section can either hold a whole lot of paper clips or a square of posit notes easily.
All together, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase. Just have your glue and hammer handy, if you order it.

Quality is not great. The wood pieces inside the top part were broken off. I was easily able to wedge it back in and keep it in place with some super glue. the front piece separating the two drawers is also cracked. just disappointed in how much i paid compared to what i got. the drawers are too deep as well. not a convenient shape to be able to see into.
