I found it quite easy to install

I bought this for my 98 Dodge Dakota. I found it quite easy to install. I have read many reviews complaining about the self tapping screws. I pre-drilled the holes slightly smaller than the screws and used an 8mm socket instead of the phillips head screwdriver and had no trouble with the screws. The instructions say that it is not a cargo net, but I think it will work fine for very light cargo. If you have anything heavy, you really ought to strap it down anyway. (I learned that lesson the hard way and once had to pick up the pieces of a brand new computer desk off of the highway. My wife reminds me of that little incident often.)

I purchased this for my 1997 Ford Ranger. It fit perfectly and looked good. The next morning, I went into the garage and leaned a single bed box spring against it. It was not an old heavy one, it was the lightweight new ones. That very light pressure was enough to tear the stitching from the top where the strap is. So now I just have the gate tied in it's position but it is loose and floppy.
Great looking but not for holding cargo.

Works really nice, great price. Is very nice looking but it is not made to keep cargo in the bed of your truck. It is perfect for what I needed, my tailgate was bent real bad and I needed something cosmetic to get me by until I got a new one painted and installed.
Flimsy Plastic Netting

Well they got the net part right but I can't imagine this in place of a tailgate! I was under the impression this was nylon webbing across the board not just the border. The net looks like flimsy plastic no thicker than 6 pack rings. I can't decide if it's worth installing.
Ended up in the garbage, not worth the hassle of returning

Looks neat but it's really really cheaply made. I tore it by over tightening just a little. Ended up in the garbage, not worth the hassle of returning.
