Seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. Price seems a bit steep.
A sensible preventative measure.

I don't have a Brondell, but this works fine with my USPA washlet. It's kind of a no-brainer to put a filter in between the inlet and bidet unit- presumably, this will keep hard water issues manageable, and in my case, with a chlorinated drop tablet in the reservoir tank, help to keep the water stream from any cross contamination.
To what degree this filter is doing that job is not something I can speak on with much empirical evidence, although I'm not experiencing the same issues I had with my last (filterless) bidet, and it stands to reason that the filter is what's keeping things from turning ugly.
The short version: if you spent $300~ on a fancy toilet accessory, spend another $15 to protect it, as well as your health.

Good, cheap protection for a big ticket item. My Daughter just installed one on my Swash 1000 equipped toilet and it couldn't have been easier. I have searched around and the Amazon price is the best I've found on the inter-web thingie. Highly recommend.
