Not sure if I should give it five stars, I haven't had it in the water yet, but installation is done and it went really smooth.
Recently bought used boat with existing keel issues. Followed the instructions and installed myself in about an hour and a half (there were a couple smoke breaks). Looks great, and I already feel better about beaching my boat. Hopefully it holds up in water as other reviews state, I'll keep you posted, we're launching tomorrow.

Installed on my 95 seadoo xp and it's perfect. 23 years of pulling up on the beach had taken its toll. A little sanding and prep work and it went on just fine, looks great (but you of course won't see it in the water unless you're gettin some air). Very happy. Make sure you line it up straight, once it goes on, it stays there. Recommend an extra set of reliable hands to help installing (I used my feet and it worked out)

Very pleased with having the keelsheild on my new Xpress X19. I also put one on my 1998 Xpress boat. I gave the 1998 Xpress to my son and grandson. I wish I had put a keelsheild on in a long time ago. It is certainly a good idea to have someone to help you install it. Just be patient and follow the instructions. Went on both of my aluminum boats just fine and looks great.
