I am impressed.
All I need was the plug in from the wall. And this company had it. If I had gone through Dell I would have had to buy the whole unit. And if would have cost me almost 80 dollars.
Instead I paid almost $6 for a 10 foot . I was further impressed because I originally order the 6 foot, but they did not have it in stock. So they sold me the 10 ft for same price. AWESOME. ....

The original power adapter cable that came with my Dell XPS 15 had an unusual plug shape which made it difficult to remove from my travel surge protector since there was no grip on the outlet plug. Due to the design, the plug would often get stuck in the surge protector power outlet which fit very snug, and since there's nothing to really grab onto, you'd either have to yank from the cord (not recommended) or use a screwdriver to wedge between the plug and the outlet (which you should never do unless you unplug the surge protector from the wall first) to dislodge the plug from the surge protector.... It's the little details that get to you and this was annoying so I decided to get a different cable.

This one not only has a place where you can grip and pull the power cable from the outlet, it's a longer cord, less stiff which makes it more flexible and easier to roll up and put away, and the power adapter plug fits perfectly (which isn't always the case when you buy non-OEM items for OEM parts). I'd get another one if I needed it, but this one works fine.

The cord worked fine but it's longer then a foot so I still had to wrap a loop in the cord. Minor issue but a foot should be a foot and not 1.5 - 2 feet.

I have a computer that uses this plug hooked up to my tv. There are already so many cables back there that replacing the 7 ft cable that came with my computer with this one really cleans up a lot of cord clutter behind the tv. And it works just as good as the one that came with the computer.

I first went to Radio Shack to get the cord lost in transit from the airport (probably security check and they didn't recover it for us) but the cord I purchased though it worked was awkward having a right angle plugging in. This one was cheaper, perfect and just like the original, so I returned the Radio Shack cord.
