Looks great, spacious, sturdy, easy to assemble (though heavy). I deducted one star because it lacks an anchor, and for a children's bookcase, that's a necessary safety feature. So, we'll have to figure out how to attach it to the wall.

This cabinet is an amazing value for the quality. Super heavy and sturdy. Replaced some flimsy toy bins in our living room, now my toddler can easily find their toys and I have regained my sanity from the previous clutter mess.

Buyer beware the instructions are poor, and the laminate that makes this 5 section, 30" high shelf can split too easily.
I accept that I typically have no time to write reviews, but this one needs it.
As a nurse, I am technical and scientific but admittedly do not have an engineer mind. That being said, these assembly instructions leave more to be desired. In one step they may tell you to put the camlocks in ahead of inserting posts. In another they totally skip this. Not a huge deal...easy enough to figure out. The more annoying habit in these instructions is that one step will have the unit lying on its back and the next step will have it lying on its front, without ever mentioning to flip it. That just might lead you to put the wrong panel on the side. You really just need to pay attention to the grooves that the back panels slide into in order to get your pieces right.
The other reason this shelf deserves a review is because the laminate was split at the screw hole, as shown in the picture, upon arrival. I didn't expect to need wood glue and a clamp before being able to put this thing to use when I paid $163. The rest of the shelf looks decent, and I'm hoping it will last longer than some kids shelves.

So glad I made this investment. I love the look and find it to be the perfect size for our home and our needs. It took about 45 minutes to assemble, but the instructions were clear and it was manageable (did it by myself!) Very solid quality.
