Works well and located some trash bag liners that fit them well

Serves its purpose. Was easy to put together, except I had problems snapping on the seat and back because I've had surgeries on my hands and they were just not strong enough to snap them on, but otherwise it was no problem to assemble. I do wish it had a tissue holder with it but I'll rig up something for that purpose.

Camping potty

Very sturdy for the low price. For Campers: I'm using it with just the frame to go around a Luggable Loo porta potty in a camper, for a little arm and knee support when getting up off the loo which is only about 16 inches high. Not using the seat or bucket that came with frame, since Luggable Loo comes with it's own bucket, seat, lid and disposable bag liners. Fits perfectly with this frame. Like that the frame folds up flat to store in a closet with my Luggable Loo in camper when not in use. You can also adjust the frame higher. You could use the whole unit with it's own small bucket and seat attached as a camping porta potty, but it doesn't hold much and doesn't fold flat quickly when set up like that (would work in a privacy tent). They sell the smaller bag liners with gel pads to fit this. I use lavendar scented gel puppy pads to line the bucket bags in my Luggable Loo. A scoop of scented cat sand helps too to contain odors in enclosed space. And puppy/cat urine odor spray also helps. Changing disposable bag liners after one use works best, but with the scented gel puppy pads that absorb liquid you can get 2 or 3 uses per bag.
A really good product with easy assembly

My first order of the Drive Medical Steel Folding Bedside Commode arrived 4 days ago in a beaten up package and the product was missing a part ... also a badly crushed part that made assembly impossible. I tried to return this and got "Item not returnable". Then I called Amazon and they immediately offered to send me a replacement or refund. I chose replacement and was told that I should just scrap the first shipment ... no need to return. Today we received the replacement Drive Medical Steel Folding Bedside Commode and everything is perfect. It is strong, made of quality material and adjustable to quite a range of heights. It was very easy to assemble, taking less than 5 minutes.
I would recommend this product to anyone needing a bedside commode. We are using it to be prepared for medical problems we will be facing in the future. Until then it is stored, fully assembled in one of our closets. Amazon's great customer service is one of the reasons we shop often with them.

This folding bedside commode wobbles like crazy and, yes, we put it together correctly and checked and checked again. A lesser issue: I have two other commode seats on two other toilets and their arms are padded with a rubber material, which provides considerable comfort to disabled patient who have to put full weight on arms. This model has unpadded, bare steel arms!
When I tried to return it because of how unstable it is, a message informed me it was UNRETURNABLE. I am not surprised, given its low quality. It must get a lot of attempted returns.
Amazon, however, was terrific. When I called them, they told me to donate it to a hospital (I would never give something unstable to a hospital, however) or throw it out and Amazon would give me a FULL REFUND.
Hooray for Amazon! This is why I shop almost exclusively through Amazon. When manufacturers fail you, Amazon comes through!

The price range for the folding bedside commodes really varies and some are extremely expensive $300 +. Being the most economical I wasn't expecting this to be the best however I have been pleasantly surprised.
This is a sturdy unit that arrived pre-assembled. It's a soft, unobtrusive matte grey with tonal comfort arm rests with a low-profile design (and low-profile back - which is optional). The commode bin has a lid and handle for trouble-free disposal. The leg height is adjustable and it folds very easily.
I purchased this in anticipation of post-op surgery(s) and I'm so happy that I did because it has made recovery so much simpler and less awkward all the way around. Highly recommend.
