I was rather impressed with this frame. I have a small guestroom and needed something that didn't take up a ton of room like a large bedframe but also didn't look like an uncomfortable futon couch. It embarrassingly took me three true blood episodes to put it together but it was simple enough.

I would prefer not to slouch in chair mode position! it needs legs to stand up straight while sitting! I wish it had legs under it so I could not arch my back as much! the front legs fold to easy and I have to make sure they wont fall while sleeping in sleep mode position! although it is a nice I like it sturdy strong and holds me. with a comfy cushion it makes a nice bed! not hard to put together! need about an hour or maybe two depending.

I'm giving it a high rating, but it is in a corner of my house where it doesn't get used much, so if you are purchasing this to use frequently, you should read a different review. I had a little trouble with the assembly instructions, but figured it out in the end. The pieces are labeled well. I'm a small, middle-aged, female person and I assembled it by myself. I used an electric screwdriver, without which it would have been hard.
Damaged in shipping but overall a great buy.

The only problem I had was that my futon arrived damaged; two wooden pegs broke off inside the holes of one seat support slat. Most of the pegs are in a plastic bag, which you insert into pre-cut holes on your own. For some reason, a few of them are already inserted, yet not properly protected inside the packaging. It was nothing a quick trip to the hardware store couldn't solve, but still a pain in the butt, and made the assembly take much longer than necessary. Assembling this thing is quite the project as it comes in a zillion pieces, but as someone who grew up assembling model cars and planes, there were no issues or confusion. Directions are quite clear. Just be patient. So far so good. If you're using your own futon mattress, be aware the back is really, really high, so a floppy futon mattress won't stand up straight against the back. We draped ours over the back, but had to forego the folded seat part of the mattress to do so. Consequently the seat isn't that comfy now. Overall this product seems pretty sturdy and well made, so we're happy.

Arrived on time. Directions were easy to follow. The futon stand / chair is exactly as I expected. Very nice quality.
But, if you've not built many of these types of things, it may require a few deep breaths and a little patience. Just read the instructions is all I can say:)).
It took me about an hour and a half total work time from start to finish, with nobody helping me. My new futon mattress is perfect on it.
