Was nice while it lasted but now it's dead

Sounded good for about a year, then it started working intermittently and now is dead. Pulled it apart and the amp is full of rust and corrosion. I did not submerge it in water or do anything crazy, but it was installed in a pontoon seat that would occasionally have some water get in it, hence why I bought a fully contained "marine" unit. Very disappointed and will never purchase one of these again.

Look at the above picture of the power/ground cord. Mine also broke apart. Plus the amp was dead on arrival. This company was awesome in the 90's but now it is just crap.

Adds the absolute perfect amount of base to my system on our 26ft premier pontoon. Multiple compliments from people who have riden on the boat saying its one of the better sounding systems they have now heard on the water. Glad I went with the 10" for a 26ft boat but I believe the 8" would be great on a smaller boat as well.
I'm going to have to figure out my own way to hold the speaker down if the company wants a better review feel free to contact me

this works great in my Jeep Wrangler along with the Wakeboard Speakers attached to my roll cage. Im not a great stereo guy but this made it easy for me to look like I know what Im doing. I would recommend this and would buy again.
