I purchased this for my brother for Christmas. It was on his wish list and apparently he thinks the zombie apocalypse is going to be upon us and this will help him with that. It shipped quickly. It appears to be pretty good quality wood and very sturdy. It was dinged up a little bit when it arrived, but I guess if you use it for its intended purpose it is going to get a little dinged up. I assume if you use it on a zombie its gonna get dinged up too, but will ultimately take a lot of force to break. Although I could care less about this thing, my brother likes it and seems to enjoy it, so I would recommend this product. Unfortunately I can't vouch for how good it is as an actual tire thumper.

If you're using a crappy hammer to thump tires, you're doing it wrong. This product won't let you down. It's weighted perfectly to provide the best bounce off of correctly inflated tire. I strongly recommend this to all the pro drivers who are the backbone of our great nation.
