Not as good as the original Silk Effects blades

Like many reviewers I always loved the smooth close shave given by Silk Effects razor blades and was delighted to find them again on Amazon. But these are not the same quality as the original Silk Effects blades--they are scratchy and seem dull even on first use. The package says they are made in Germany by Edgewell (not Schick), and although I don't know where the original ones were made years ago, these definitely seem to be inferior knock-offs.

I was even more delighted to open a package and instead of the 1-5 package of refills, it was 2-3 refill blades, giving me one extra refill per package.

I love that I'm only getting (and paying for) three blades in each refill head; I sure don't need the very-expensive five or six blades! I'm stocking up as I can no longer find these at local stores. I can't remember the last time I got cut using this razor and blade.

My wife has already been using these for several years. She says "the best for shaving legs and underarms in the shower". Very happy to find them available on Amazon. Local stores here do not carry the refills.

I love my Schick Silk Effects razor and am so pleased to have finally found new blades. I have one Silk Effects razor in the tub and another in my luggage for when I travel. Carrying an electric razor is bulky and finding a convenient outlet can be problematic. I'm sure I'll be getting another order of these so I won't run out.
