Perfect for my purposes!

I purchased these to use inside a litter box that I made myself out of a large Rubbermaid storage container - I cut a hole in the lid and the cat can go in and out - but not the dog! I use large lawn-and-leaf bags to line the box, then use these disposable pans inside; when it's time to change the litter, I just pull out the bag with this pan and the dirty litter inside, tie it up, and throw it in the garbage. This method takes me exactly 30 seconds to dispose of used litter, and another 2 minutes to put in another bag and this pan, add litter, and presto changeo, I'm done. These pans are not super sturdy and work best as a liner, I don't think they'd work well on their own, they'd be too flimsy.

The trays are perfect for our planned trip. There was one problem; the packaging may be a little flimsy ours was obviously crushed and about ten are unusable. Maybe label with a please don't crush?

A buck apiece seemed steep, THEN I realized what I was saving in heavy, bulky boxes I had to scrape and wash and disinfect. Takes me 15 minutes, no mess, no waste, no water, to have 4 fresh boxes. Never go back.

I like that these are recycled! I don't use them in a pan, just sit them on a mat. We use about 1.5 inches of SecondHand News recycled newspaper litter in ours. We have to keep our kitten's area sanitary because she has leukemia. We toss these almost every day for that reason. They would hold up much longer then that. Not having to sterilize a litter box everyday has added joy to my life.
